The gallery index page
Below are listed the galleries currently available in this section. Each gallery is presented with a thumbnail and a small piece of descriptive text. Theme galleries are presented differently. To enter a gallery simply click on the thumbnail. Note that each gallery opens in a new browser window. The Other sections menu (left) provides links to other gallery index pages.

Theme galleries
Theme galleries are galleries consisting of photos all taken on one particular location (e.g. in a forest) or describing a certain occurrence (e.g. a season). There are more definitions but I leave them out for now. A theme gallery is first and foremost presented on this index page with a small graphic and some descriptive text.
Note: A gallery marked with an (*) is located elsewhere.

Gravelled roads
There is something special about gravelled roads. Perhaps it is because they bring back memories from times gone by. A very special gravelled road was the one leading up to and past my parents summer house. That road was very special indeed.

Gallery 2
Forest paths
Most of the paths in this gallery, if not all, are not as peaceful as they may look in the pictures. Especially on weekends if the weather is fine. Click the thumbnail and walk with me down a few of my favourite paths. Look out for joggers! :)

Countryside Roads
There are lots of beautiful gravelled roads here and I could easily fill this site with photos of them. Don't worry, I won't do that! :) However, this is the second gallery with photos of gravelled roads and there will be more later on.

Paths To Nature
Perhaps a more accurate title of this gallery would be Paths through Nature. In any case I invite you to a walk down some of the paths that I often walk. To nature as well as through it. Seasons may come and go but the paths will remain. Well, the local authorities permitting (grin).
